Dr. Mohammed Wattad is a 2006/2007 Post-Doctoral fellow of the Halbert Exchange Program at the Munk Centre and a Visiting Scholar at the Toronto University Faculty of Law. He was born in Jatt-Village, Israel, graduated with honours from Haifa Law School, is a member of the Israeli Bar, and served as a law clerk for the Hon. Justice Dalia Dorner at the Supreme Court of Israel. |
|
Dr. Wattad presents an encouraging perspective on the identity of Israel’s Arab citizens. As profiled in a recent article in the Toronto Star “He acknowledges allegiance to the Arab nation through language and culture. But, at the same time, he feels strongly about loyalty to his country – the State of Israel.”
Come meet and hear Dr. Wattad’s positive views on the status of Israel’s Arab citizens |
